PRE PURCHASE AGREEMENT
PURPOSE
We are so excited you are joining us in Toronto for the Dietitian Success Summit — a gathering designed for connection, conversation, and the future of the dietetics profession. The purpose of this Summit Agreement ("Agreement") is to communicate the terms and expectations of Attendee participating in the summit at Toronto Beach Club, Toronto, Ontario ("summit"). For mutual consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the Parties agree to the terms and conditions set out below.
By purchasing a ticket and clicking the button that says “I accept Terms of Service and Privacy Policy”, Attendee confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to accept all of the terms and conditions in this Agreement.
SUMMIT DETAILS
Summit Dates The summit begins on September 28, 2026 ("Start Date") and ends on September 29, 2026 for General Pass holders, or September 30, 2026 for Entrepreneur Pass holders ("End Date"). It is recommended that Attendee not book travel to arrive or depart on the exact Start Date or End Date. If Attendee arrives late, or must leave the summit early, Attendee will be responsible for all additional travel costs.
Summit Host is not acting as a registered travel agent. Host will provide the following Services during the summit (collectively, "Services"):
- Access to all general summit sessions on September 28–29, 2026 (General Pass), or September 28–30, 2026 (Entrepreneur Pass)
- Keynote presentations, workshops, and panel discussions
- Meals and refreshments as outlined in the schedule (breakfast, lunch, and snacks on event days)
- Networking and connection opportunities
- Professional headshot photography session during the event (1 digital headshot per person)
- Welcome bag and summit materials
- Entrepreneur Pass holders only: entrepreneur-focused sessions, strategy and mastermind day, smaller group discussions, and exclusive connection event on the evening of September 29, 2026
Services NOT Included The summit does not include the following as part of the Services (collectively, "Exclusions"):
- Airfare or ground transportation to and from the venue
- Hotel or accommodation costs
- Travel insurance or medical insurance
- Alcohol or beverages beyond what is included in the provided catering
- Any personal expenses incurred outside of the event venue
- Any meals outside of those specifically listed in the schedule
Attendee Expectations Attendee agrees to be respectful to all other attendees, Hosts and their employees and contractors, and hospitality workers at the summit location. Attendee agrees to engage in professional and appropriate behaviour throughout the event. Host reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to require Attendee to leave the summit immediately, at their own cost and expense, if these expectations are violated, or if Attendee is interfering with the safety, experience or enjoyment of other attendees.
COSTS AND PAYMENT
Cost and Deposit The total cost of the summit is as follows, plus all applicable Canadian taxes:
- General Pass (Early Bird): $699 CAD
- General Pass (Regular, after July 10, 2026): $849 CAD
- Entrepreneur Pass (Early Bird): $1,099 CAD
- Entrepreneur Pass (Regular, after July 10, 2026): $1,299 CAD
- DSC Members receive a $100 discount via member code
Payment Schedule Attendee agrees to pay the Cost in full at the time of registration, OR according to a payment plan if selected at checkout. Payment plans are available for a limited time following initial ticket release and are offered in equal monthly installments. All payments must be completed prior to September 1, 2026. By selecting a payment plan, Attendee agrees to complete all scheduled payments.
If the summit is booked on or after September 1, 2026, the full Cost is payable upon booking.
Payment Method Host accepts payment by credit card through the checkout platform. Please note that processing fees may apply.
Credit Card Authorization Attendee acknowledges and authorizes Host to automatically charge their credit card provided to Host for all payments owing under this Agreement. Attendee authorizes Host to charge all payments to Attendee's credit card at the time payment is due and no separate authorization is required. If Attendee cancels or replaces their credit card, Attendee must immediately provide Host with updated credit card information.
No Chargebacks Attendee acknowledges and agrees that the terms of this Agreement and Host's cancellation and refund policies supersede the terms of use and refund policies of any third-party payment processor used by Host. Attendee will be responsible for any fees, including legal fees, incurred by Host as a result of recouping payments owing under this Agreement.
Late or Missed Payments Any late or missed payments will be subject to a late fee of 2% compounding monthly, equaling 24% annually, starting from the payment due date. Attendee will not be permitted to attend the summit until full payment has been received.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Cancellation by Attendee All ticket purchases are final sale. In the event Attendee is unwilling or unable to attend the summit, Attendee agrees to notify Host as soon as possible at hello@dietitiansuccesscenter.com. In the event of cancellation by Attendee, Attendee will not be entitled to a refund for any reason, including change of plans, travel disruptions, illness, or personal circumstances. If Attendee leaves the summit early for any reason, they will not be provided with any refund, either in whole or in part.
Transfer of Booking If Attendee is unable to attend, Attendee may transfer their ticket to another individual. Transfers must be requested in writing by September 1, 2026 to hello@dietitiansuccesscenter.com. Only one transfer per ticket is permitted. The new attendee must be a registered dietitian, dietetic technician, dietetic student, or related professional. Transferee will remain bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
Cancellation by Host If for any reason Host is required to cancel the summit, except in the case of Force Majeure as set out below, Host will provide Attendee with as much notice as possible and will refund any payments made towards the Cost as soon as possible.
If the summit is cancelled by Host for any reason, Attendee acknowledges and agrees that Host is not responsible for reimbursing any incidental expenses incurred by Attendee, including but not limited to, cancelling or rescheduling related travel costs, including airfare, hotels or car rentals.
In the event Host is required to cancel the summit as a result of Force Majeure, Attendee will not be entitled to any refund of payments made. It is strongly recommended that Attendee obtain trip cancellation insurance to protect against this risk.
Itinerary Changes Although Host will make reasonable efforts to deliver the marketed Services, Host reserves the right to alter the summit itinerary in its sole discretion for reasons including but not limited to availability, speaker scheduling, weather conditions, and suitability of activities for attendees.
Suppliers and Independent Contractors Catering, venue services, photography, and other activities that take place during the summit will be arranged by Host with local suppliers. Host will endeavour to contract with reputable and competent suppliers, however the terms and conditions of those suppliers may apply and may limit or exclude the liability of Host. Host will not be liable for any costs, expenses, loss or damages as a result of any third-party supplier.
PRIVACY
Privacy Policy In order to provide the summit, Host may collect personal information, including Attendee name, address, email address, phone number, billing information, dietary information, accessibility needs, and other personal information ("Personal Information"). By providing any Personal Information to Host, Attendee consents and grants Host permission to use and store such information in order to organize and facilitate the summit. Attendee acknowledges and consents to the use of technology, emails, applications and third-party platforms and payment providers by Host. Attendee confirms Host is not responsible for the terms and policies of any third-party platforms and it is Attendee's responsibility to review those terms.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Ownership of Rights Attendee acknowledges that all content and materials used and distributed before, during and after the summit, including any presentations, handouts, course materials, or resources, belong exclusively to Host or the respective speaker/contributor, the sole copyright owners of the original materials, unless stated otherwise. Host grants Attendee a limited non-exclusive royalty-free license for their personal use only. Attendee is strictly prohibited from reproducing, recording (audio or video), or sharing any part of the written, video, or audio materials without Host's explicit permission. All of Host's intellectual property, including copyrighted materials and trademarks, shall remain the sole property of Host.
RELEASE, INDEMNITY AND WAIVER
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. It is important Attendee fully understands that there are risks associated with attending and participating in the summit and Services.
No Warranty Host provides no warranty that the summit activities or related Services will lead to any specific professional goals, career outcomes, business results, or particular results. Attendee acknowledges and agrees that the summit activities are provided without any express or implied warranties of any kind.
Release of Liability, Waiver and Indemnity As a condition of attending the summit, Attendee confirms their review, understanding and acknowledgment of the "Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement" which is attached to and forms part of this Agreement.
Media Release Attendee grants to Host an irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual and unrestricted right to use any media, such as photographs, video, audio recordings or social media posts, whether captured by Attendee, Host or third party in relation to the summit and for any lawful purpose, including in its online or printed advertising or marketing materials and on all social media platforms, with or without reference to Attendee and without further notice, grant of permission or right to any financial compensation. If Attendee does not wish to appear in event photos or recordings, they must inform event staff in writing before the event begins by emailing hello@dietitiansuccesscenter.com.
GENERAL
Good Faith Each Party agrees it has acted in good faith and will continue to do so during the Term of this Agreement.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction This Agreement is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada where applicable. Any disputes arising directly or indirectly from this Agreement will be submitted and heard exclusively in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
Dispute Resolution In the event any dispute arises between the Parties in relation to this Agreement and the dispute is not resolved by negotiation, the Parties agree to submit the dispute for mediation prior to pursuing any other available remedy. The Parties may agree to virtual mediation, when available.
Force Majeure Neither Party will be responsible for delays resulting from causes beyond their reasonable control, including without limitation fire, explosion, floods, storms, pandemics, state of emergency, hazardous situations, war, strike, or riot, and either Party may choose to excuse themselves from further performance of their obligations under this Agreement if such occurrence materially affects the performance of Services. The Party relying on Force Majeure shall give the other Party reasonable notice of their desire to terminate or suspend the Services. Notwithstanding, all payments owing for expenses incurred and Services rendered shall remain due and payable.
Notice Any notice to be given under this Agreement must be directed to the other party using the contact information first set out above. Email will be considered sufficient for delivery of Notice. Notice will be deemed to be delivered on the date and time when the Notice is sent.
Restriction on Transfer This Agreement may not be transferred by Attendee except with the express written consent of the Host and in accordance with the terms set out in this Agreement.
Severability If any of the provisions of this Agreement are found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected and will remain enforceable.
Waiver of Breach The waiver by one Party of any breach of this Agreement by the other Party will not be taken to be a waiver of any future breaches by the breaching Party.
Full Agreement This Agreement, together with the attached "Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement" constitutes the full agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior negotiation, understanding or Agreement between the Parties, whether oral or written.
Amendments The Parties may only amend this Agreement by mutual written agreement.
Acknowledgment By clicking the button indicating your agreement on the checkout page, and purchasing your ticket, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions. This electronic acceptance constitutes a legally binding agreement, equivalent to a handwritten signature.
